My next “behind the scenes” deconstruction of my recent Art of the Game show pieces is Tim Hardaway. Watching him blow-by defenders with his pattened “UTEP two-step” crossover back in the day was so much fun. Had to do a Tim Bug illustration to pair with my Mully.

For this piece, I wanted to convey a sense of motion, agility, and skittishness that comes with watching Tim on the court. Those sketchy radiating lines emanating from behind him is something I hadn’t done before, but I liked how they communicated that energy.
