Next up in my “behind the scenes” deconstruction of my Art of the Game show pieces is Jason Richardson! During those lean years when the Warriors had no one in the All Star Game itself, J-Rich was winning Dunk Contests and representing the Dubs on All Star weekend. I still think his off-the-backboard, between-the-legs dunk doesn’t get talked about enough.

I’m a big fan of Tomer Hanuka and his color work. Tried to emulate some of his feel in my piece by using different tones of a dominantly dark color for the majority of it, then having pops of bright color to accentuate it.
