Day 27 is G.I. Joe’s multi-shot grenadier, Hardball! Seemed fitting to do in honor of the World Series happening right now, me being in Los Angeles at the moment, and @halbrett ‘s request. Thanks for all likes, Hal! Speaking of – we’re down to the last few days of this wacky G.I. Joe themed Inktober project. Any more requests of a Joe or Cobra that hasn’t been depicted yet? Throw a name in the comment and we’ll see what I can do.

For this one, I brought back the gridding rendering in the hat area and tried out more contained hatching lines as a secondary value in the skin areas. Also tried serrated edges on some shadow borders to soften them again.
