Day 12 brings Cobra’s mercenary master of disguise, Zartan! Do you remember how his toy figure would turn to an aqua blue-green color in the sun? They even did it in the cartoon for a little bit. Well, since all of my sketches depict the characters brightly lit, here’s Zartan trying to block the light and keep from changing colors!

This experiment was definitely the biggest yet of this project. I knew I wanted to work in the blue-green color change, but not sure if I could depict it properly with the sharpies. I gave it a go. Also tried a different approach to showing bright and dark spots on his cowl. Glad for my attempts on this.
