So sad to hear of Shock G’s passing. I grew up a huge fan of Digital Underground. Humpty Hump was totally ridiculous and oh so fun. He’s an all-time favorite persona. I couldn’t believe my luck when I got to see Shock G / Humpty Hump perform in Berkeley ten years ago. 12 year-old me lost my mind seeing the Humpty Dance performed live! After the show, I was so excited to get a pic with Gregory Jacobs aka Shock G aka Humpty Hump and have him sign a show flyer. To this day, it sits prominently on a shelf in my bedroom. And in additional Humpty-related fun, @biggletron and I got to see the giant Humpty Head prop from The Return Of The Crazy One music video (stored in a garage in East Oakland)!
