Here’s a comic book page advertisement I made for LAZARUS 1.

I wanted to elaborate on the striking image of Forever Carlyle and tell more of what the series is about. Using the solicitation text from Previews, I used a futuristic looking font (since the story takes place in the future), kept the text in white to contrast the negative space it was in, and lead the reader’s eye from the beginning of the description to the series logo.

Naturally, I wanted to include Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s names! I also included the image logo and “#WHATSNEXT” tag that’s been a part of Image’s marketing campaign this year. Kept all of the added elements in blue or black so that the gunshot wound on Forever’s face was the only thing in red.
