Here’s a comic book page advertisement I made for THE INFINITE HORIZON tradepaperback.

My main goal was to infer this character’s long journey. I clipped out the figure and footprints from the cover art. Then kept the figure small and gave an omnious desert feel by using the same color palette of the figure and implying where the horizon is. Thus the colors also give a sense of lighting and atmosphere.

I didn’t want to clutter up the composition of the ad with the tagline and sales solicit info, so I kept the text small, simple and very open.
